About The Covenant Line

Necklace card
At a women's conference, Beth Moore asked,  "If anyone ever doubted the day they accepted Christ?”  We were amazed at the hands that went up! It is a spiritual ceremony between you and The Holy Spirit, do not ever doubt it. God knows your heart. This Covenant is between you and Him.

Speaking of ceremonies, I wear my wedding ring to represent my marriage, as well three rings that represent my children. I thought why not wear a ring to represent my relationship with Jesus Christ?

I was led to wear the year I accepted Christ as a reminder of Who I am in Him.   A precious friend designed and made the ring and a necklace, with my year 1974. As I was leaving the building three different people asked me what my necklace meant,  I responded, “It is the year I accepted Jesus.”  I was speaking the name of Jesus to strangers.   I thought, "Lord, what are you up too?” The situations and stories have only grown. I pray anyone that wears their Covenant necklace is given multiple opportunities to share the name of Jesus.

I have had my cross necklace for years,  but this allows a different experience.  When you wear the year you accepted Jesus people ask what it stands for.  I have been asked about my necklace in elevators, ice-cream shops, parking lots, funerals, airports and weddings to name a few.  A glimpse of the necklace or the curiosity from a stranger inquiring about it, reminds me time and time again of who I am in Him. The ring, just like a wedding ring, is more about the relationship and the commitment you have with Him.

On July 29, 2015, God’s plan was to put a ring on my finger and a necklace around my neck to speak His name through my wearing a simple piece of jewelry.

Proverbs 3:  He commands us not to forget His teaching.  Not to lean on our own understanding. Acknowledge Him. To be Wise. Preserve sound judgement and discernment an ornament to grace your neck.

Proverbs 6: He also commands us to bind His teaching upon our hearts and fasten them around our necks.

As well as Proverbs 2:4, 3:13-14, 10:20, 25:11 and Psalms 12:6

If you are giving the necklace as a gift, while placing the necklace on them, recite The Blessings Prayer. Numbers 6-24-26. The scripture will be located on the back of the card the necklace is attached to. If you purchase the necklace for your self, have your spiritual mentor, Pastor, Sunday school teacher, spouse, parent, child, grandparent, that someone special, place it on you while reciting the prayer.

When asked about making the necklace in a less expensive metal, I felt strongly about staying with sterling silver.  Silver = Pure Words, Truth and Understanding

925 Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, primarily cooper. Cooper reacts to moisture and sulfur in the air, causing the sterling silver to tarnish.  Chemicals like hairspray, perfume, body lotion, etc., can speed up the tarnishing process.  Keep your Covenant Line necklace in air tight Ziploc bag in a drawer. Don't leave silver jewelry in the bathroom unprotected, and do not wear it in the shower, swimming pool or hot tub. Humidity, moisture and light can make tarnish appear faster.

Custom Orders:  Each necklace is individually made, laser cut, polished and assembled by hand. From beginning to end, made in the USA. More importantly each piece is prayed over, in the same manner, from the beginning to the end.
